------------------------ To People Everywhere --------------------------

Have you ever thought that "telecommuting" could save your life or the lives of
the people you know? It can.

If you commute anywhere using a car, plane, bus, train, or any other vehicle,
telecommuting, instead, could protect you and many other people around you.

If more people telecommuted, there would be fewer people killed or injured by
vehicles (presently 40,000 people die on highways each year in the USA alone,
and hundreds of thousands more are injured). There would also be less stress
and better health for both the telecommuters and commuters alike. Our children
would have a better life, too.

Whether your work can be performed from home by telecommuting or not, an
increase in the number of telecommuters should be very important to you. An
increase in telecommuters makes the world a better place for everyone. It stops
traffic congestion, conserves energy, reduces pollution, improves productivity,
saves money, and enhances family and community relationships. And now we
also know that it improves the overall quality of our lives, particularly our
safety and health.

I ask that you spread the word about the safety and health benefits of
telecommuting to your family and close friends - people you truly care about.
Urge them to send this message to their political representatives and others
and to visit our website for more information.

Sincerely,
